Notification button not working

    My notification button in the top right corner is highlighted in yellow telling me that I have notifications. It will not show anything when I click it but a blank white box. I checked my email and showed me that there were in fact notifications. I have restarted the browser, logged out and back in and nothing has worked. Help please?!
