  How do my readers get notifications of any updates/new published material, etc.

  Hi there, if you add the Follow Blog Widget to your site, people will then be able to sign up for email notifications. Also, if you visit your site and look in the lower right corner, you will see a floating “Follow” button. Visitors can also click that to follow your site.
