Notification going to unexpected e-mail address

  At about the time I started my blog, I changed my email address from one provider to another. I believe I have changed everything to the new e-mail address. However, when someone follows the blog, there is a notification that “[whoever] is now following [blog name]” but it’s going to the OLD e-mail address. I have been unable to find out where this is coming from. If I try to login to wordpress.com with that OLD e-mail address and try to get the password reset because I have forgotten it, wordpress.com says there is no account for that e-mail.

  Can someone point me to someplace to look for this?

  Please post both email addresses here knowing the software will redact them ie. HIDE them so only Staff can view them. I’ll tag this thread for their assistance. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond.

  OK, thanks, timethief. I am subscribed to this thread.

  The “..is now following…” message is going to [redacted]. I would expect it to go to [redacted] the email address for me.

  Hi Reid,

  Looks like you had an older email address that was stuck in one of your settings. I have fixed the issue on my end, so you should be good to go from here!

  Not one you can see on your end, hence the confusion. All set now though!
