Notification on the Admin Bar have stopped working. No email notifications either. No changes to my site settings. All other emails coming in fine. I know I have had new followers and ‘likes’ today but nothing in Notifications drop-down list.

Hi Beth,
I did some testing on your account and found no issues loading notifications just now, so I’m not sure immediately what happened yesterday. And our records show several notification emails being sent to your email address over the last couple days.
Was there a specific notification event you’re aware of that you did not receive a notification/email for that I can check on?
Regarding the notifications specifically in the admin bar — when you click on the notification button, does the space open and never fully load? Or are there just notifications missing?
If you could take a screenshot and upload it to your media library so I can view it, that will help me figure out what’s going on as well.

Thanks for your help with this. I have uploaded a screenshot as requested.
I see the last 'follow' of 18th has now appeared, but there were 13 'likes' and other follows from earlier in the day that I picked up from the post itself and via the site stats that are missing from the admin-bar notifications.
I have also now received some but not all email notifications. It may be that this problems is now resolved but your advice about what might have happened here would be appreciated.

I checked your account just now and I’m seeing several unread notifications from the 18th that do not appear on your screenshot. I’ve uploaded my Screenshot to your media library here.
Could you log out, log in and check the notifications again to see if they’re appearing for you as well? I can only assume these are the likes that were missing previously.
While I see no errors on your user logs, we did just release a few changes to the Notifications so I imagine this was some kind of delay related to those changes. I do apologize for the troubles.
Please let me know if you continue to see missing elements from notifications going forward, but I believe this is resolved now.

Thanks for your ongoing help with this. Not sure if the problem has been solved. A whole batch of catch-up emails have appeared with today's date, though they are in fact the likes and follows from 19th. They have not appeared in my admin-bar notifications, bar one at the top. I might need to wait for a bit more traffic to see what the current state of affairs is. I did log out and in before taking the new screenshot that is now in my media library (yellow box background).

Sorry now I’m a little confused. Those unread notifications I saw from 19th do appear in the new screenshot you’ve uploaded — the majority of them start with “D. Parker.”
Are those not the notifications that were missing?

The 'D Parker' notifications were some but not all of the missing notifications. It is a bit confusing, especially as the email notifications came through late on yesterday's date.
I think the best thing for me to do now is monitor it over the next few days. If I have email notifications, 'likes' on the posts themselves, followers appearing on my stats and comments on my dashboard, but no, or incomplete, admin-bar notifications I'll get back to you.
