Notification speech bubble wont load

Hello,
Just a small problem really but the notification speech bubble in the top right of the screen wont load when I click on it to see latest comments etc.
I can see from a forum search that this is a problem others have had periodically, so I’ve waited to see if it will sort itself out as one posters’ did but it hasn’t.
Could someone have a look at it for me when you have a minute, please.

Okay – it’s broken again! Arrggh. So I’m guessing it fixed itself and then immediately broke again! Please could some nice support person sort it out for me. Cheers

If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading or switching first.
Note: If you are using an IE9 browser in compatibility mode that makes it render as IE7 and IE7 is not supported. To disable see > http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1196-internet-explorer-compatibility-view-turn-off.html
If you are running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com please do these four things:
1. Try clearing your browser’s cache: http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050
2. Make sure that you have third-party cookies enabled: http://en.support.wordpress.com/third-party-cookies/
3. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.
4. Try enabling HTTPS: http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/
If it’s still happening, let us know exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary http://www.whatbrowser.org/ and also post any error reports you get.

I had the same problem on my private blogs. The icon just kept loading and loading and never displaying the notification box. I tried the steps above. It helped with my open blog but with the private blogs the problem remained. But I noticed that there was another strange thing with those private blogs – the “blog icon” which was the standard WP icon did not load either. When I created a blog icon for one of my private blogs the notification box started to work there at once. Using Firefox and IE9 and both had this problem.

@helar – could you please start a new thread to describe your issue in detail, and add the word modlook in the Tags section in the right column so Staff will respond to your issue with your private blogs.
