Notification to followers of a new post
-
I make multiple edits to a newly published post. I want the last edits to be reflected in the email notification my followers receive, but it’s alway the original post that gets sent. How to change this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can’t. The post goes out once only and that’s after it’s originally published. What you can do is publish a new post and direct visitors to the one(s) you edited.
Do not delete any post and then publish it again with the edits simply to have it display on social networking sites and be sent out in email. That’s like cutting off one’s nose … see here for a clear explanation of why you should never to do that http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2011/08/05/avoid-creating-404-pages/

I don’t use social networking for my blog, but thank you for pointing that out (even though I didn’t click the link). You answered my question. Thanks. I’ll just make sure I edit before I publish.

You’re welcome. The link leads to a post that explains the impacts of deleting published posts and what that does at the search engine end of things.
