Notification When A Contributor Posts
-
I do not get any notification when a contributor makes a blog post that needs to be approved. I have been unable to find any setting for such a notification. Please advise.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Thanks.
I’d seen those.
I do get notifications on comments as well as on post and draft changes.
But there appears to be no setting to let a site admin know when a fresh draft has been added by a contributor.
That appears to be a dire necessity.

If notification of draft changes by contributors isn’t doing what you need it to do, you can certainly suggest a refinement in the Ideas forum.

Add “feature request” and “Modlook” tags to your post.

Does not look like the notification is automatic – the Contributor needs to notify you
Contributor
A Contributor can create and edit only their own posts, but cannot publish them. When one of their posts is ready to be published, or has been revised, the Administrator needs to be notified personally by the Contributor to review it. Furthermore, once a Contributor’s post is approved and published by an Administrator, it can no longer be edited by the Contributor.
Contributors do not have the ability to upload files or images, but they can see your site’s stats.
