    Little bell top RHS.
    Shows a red spot but doesn’t load in dashboard but works OK in reader.

    Cache cleared, the usual tried, multiple OS’s, four users, different locations, all working ‘free’ blogs.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there!

    When I access your account I can see the notifications without any issues. Are you still experiencing problems? Could you share a screenshot of what you see on your end? You can use an online tool for that (such as https://snipboard.io/) and paste the link into your reply.

    It would also help if you could tell us which browser are you using and what other browsers have you already tried.

    Thank you for your reply.

    There is nothing to see apart from the little circle in the “loading”
    screen going around and around.
    Go into reader, and clicking on notifications, seconds later, up comes
    the comments and other notifications.

    So something is wrong with the background processes on my blog, on
    multiple platforms, multiple machines.

    Browsers, Opera, Firefox. None of us use Microsoft Browsers.
    OS Win 8.2, 7, and Home edition Windows 10, Ubuntu (version not known)
    Virus checkers, Avira, Mcafee, Avast

    Other blogs work OK.

    Available memory minimum 4 GB, max 12 GB

    Broadband speed lowest 5mb, highest 100mb fiber.

    Hi Paul,

    thanks for the details. It doesn’t look like there’s an issue with your account, as I mentioned before, the notifications load correctly on my end:

    It sounds like you were getting help with testing from friends or family, do you all use the same Internet source?

    Before opening the notifications, could you check if there are any errors in the console (Right click>Inspect element>Console)? If there are any, please attach a screenshot of what you see into your reply.

    No, different internet sources but that has little to do with the problem seeing as though they are all accessing the same blog.

    Also, two are UK based, two in the US.
    It’s also getting a bit tiresome having to change my password after my friends have tested the blog.

    Notifications will not come up in dashboard, will in reader.
    This is a new tilt that started a few days ago.
    So the new question has got to be,

    What has wordpress been doing in terms of modifications besides driving every mad with the new block editor within the last 7 days?

    The blogs this fault is showing up on are paulsprepping, the graysurvivalist, and pensitivity101.
