notifications

I’m wondering whey I’m not getting notifications when my blog has been linked or referred in another blog. I used to get notifications, but not anymore. I happened to be reading a blog and saw my blog was linked to in their blog. I checked my settings and from what I can figure I should be getting notified (under settings/discussion/pingbacks are allowed). Any suggestions?

Could you send me a link to the other blog that linked to your site?
That will help me investigate what happened. :)
Everything does appear to be setup correctly on your site, but we had bit of downtime on Pingbacks in December, or there could be something special about the site that created the link.

So the first one happened while pingbacks were down, but more importantly both of those examples linked to your homepage (myoutdoorrunningadventures.com), not to a post or page’s permalink.
If your site had a static front page, and that selected page was set to accept pingbacks, then their links would generate a pingback. But since the front page for your site is the list of your latest posts, that url can’t have a pingback generated.
