I have a blog, to which people have a subscription. When I post something, they will get (immediately or later, depending on what settings they use) a notification. Question: how can I avoid that people get the whole of my post in their mail? I mean, what is the point of having a blog, when people get my posts in their inbox, without ever having to travel to my site? Can I influence this? (Can’t seem to find the answer to this, sorry!)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey there, Hendrik!
You can certainly limit the amount of text displayed in your notification emails so people must click through to view your entire post.
To do this, you’ll use the Summary configuration for posts in your site’s feed. This link will give you instructions on how to set this up:

That should do the trick! If I can help in any other way, please drop me a line. Cheers :)

Thanks a lot, I obviously did not totally comprehend the ‘feed’-concept. Many thanks and all the best,
