notifications are not automatically sent when a new post is created

  As far as I can see two followers invited as authors should receive notification when a new post is posted but they do not? has it got to do with the fact that they are listed as authors? does it matter? how can I get them to receive the posts?

  Would Loooooooooove to hear from someone about this…
  I am runnin g a research project and the followers (registered as authors) need to respond to the data on the weblog so I am desperate to find a solution, have looked everyewhere, the data about comments in the help/forum section is not the same as what I see. (had the same before with something else, issue with a classic version ?..)
  Anyway Thank you happiness people for providing happiness to me as fast as possible. I am ready for happiness!
