notifications being received for a site i deleted?

  I have recently started receiving emails to moderate comments on my former blog, which i deleted well over a year ago (probably longer) – i can’t access this blog to block or report the sender as spam. I am concerned about this as this site was deleted and should therefore not have any activity on it. Can you help?
