Notifications go to old/wrong email address.

I changed my email address, yet notifications continue to go to the old email address (which is no longer apart of my blog/account). I’m confused!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can update your email address in your Account Settings, https://wordpress.com/settings/account/ or in your Personal Settings under Users → Personal Settings in your dashboard. http://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/users.php?page=grofiles-user-settings

Sadly, I’ve tried both methods recommended. And my new email address is correctly listed in my account, but…the notifications/comments continue to go to my old email address.
Strange but true.

Hi there,
The only email address I see linked to your account is the one listed in your account settings. I don’t see any record of that email address being changed.
Could you let me know the email address where you’re getting the notifications, and the email address where you want to get them? (You can post them here in the forum thread and they’ll be hidden from everyone but staff.) That will help me investigate this for you.

The email address in my account ((email visible only to moderators and staff)) is correct.
I just put up a test post, but the notification was sent to my old email address ((email visible only to moderators and staff)).
It should be going to (email visible only to moderators and staff) but it isn’t…

I know this is stupid but I put wrong e-mail address and coudln’t even check first confirmaition. how do I do?

@foundandtaken – Aha! I see what’s going on. You subscribed to email updates from your blog using the other (Yahoo) email address, which is why you’re getting those. You can unsubscribe by going here: https://subscribe.wordpress.com/
Under “Manage Your Subscriptions,” you can enter your Yahoo email address. That’ll give you access to manage or remove that subscription.
That’s separate from your WordPress.com account and email. In your account, you’ve actually blocked email updates from WordPress.com, so you won’t receive any email notifications at the email address on your account. You can change that from your notification settings page here: https://wordpress.com/settings/notifications/
Be sure to uncheck the box next to “Block all email updates from blogs you’re following on WordPress.com” to start receiving email notifications at that email address.
