Notifications not being sent through Forms (Multiple Plugins Affected)
-
About 6 weeks ago (we use Office 365 – and they assure us it is not their issue) we stopped receiving email notifications of entries to all of our forms. Nothing changed in any of the forms or site in general. Aside from regular updates.
Depending on the section of the site, this could be a Gravity Form or QuForm and neither will send notifications regardless of what email address is in the notification settings. Gravity Forms gives the confirmation that the notification has been sent out, but we do not receive it in our inboxes. Is anyone else having a similar issue? Any solutions?
Last ditch effort will be installing an SMTP plugin, but we don’t send mass emails out from our site so it is not exactly the right solution to the problem. -
Hey there privitinc, could you send a link to the site you’re having trouble with?
Note these forums are for the sites hosted and managed here at WordPress.com. For help with a WordPress installation hosted somewhere else, honestly for this I’d check in with your hosting provider first. Make sure you php mail is working, check your localdomains settings to be sure your mail to your domain will leave the server, etc.
Then if you need more help with a self-managed installation, I’d recommend these forums:
https://wordpress.org/support/forums/Or you’d be welcome to move your site here so we can manage stuff like this. the plan you would need comes with direct, chat-based support as well:

Thanks. I can confirm that’s hosted with GoDaddy rather than WordPress.com.
You’re using a free copy of WordPress there, so going forward for WordPress help, use these forums:
https://wordpress.org/support/forums/Here’s the difference:
https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/I’m not an expert on GoDaddy’s server configurations, but one easy test is to change the email address on your form to something else, that isn’t on privit.com. If that works but mail to privit.com does not, in my experience if your domain is in localdomains rather than remotedomains, so any mail sent by the server to your domain will stay on the server, rather than going out to outlook’s services. Again, GoDaddy’s servers may be different, but I’ve seen that before elsewhere. And if mail from forms fails no matter what email address you use, they can likely help with that too. Good luck!
