Notifications Not Loading
-
I’m using Firefox and it’s up-to-date, however the only problem I’m noticing is that when I click the notification drop down on the Admin Bar, it never loads. It drops down and it’s a spinning wheel, thinking about forever. I’ve cleared cache and cookies, I’ve rebooted the computer, checked that things are updated, still just a wheel spinning not showing me any notifications.
Help?!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I am having the same issue, before today I was able to navigate to “notifications” by hocering over the WordPress logo on the upper left nav-bar, then recencently it was moved to the “Reader” nav and now that is no longer available as of today. Hoew does one check their “notifications” now?

Notifications seems to have disappeared the day before yesterday. As an older reader not into social media, I find it invaluable for being alerted to comments to my comments on other WP blogs. I wonder if one of the WP Boffins could explain it’s being pulled please? Is it a technical issue or just some tech savvy whizz-kid who doesn’t use it, thinking that it was redundant? It is NOT REDUNDANT

BTW the notifications URL is not hard to figure out. While waiting click https://wordpress.com/notifications/

Thanks timethief, the link worked but I am totally untechsavvy and and couldn’t separate cheese from my cookies (Joke) I did notice that the above link had (US) in brackets at the end, does this indicate that being an Aussie is a problem? Sorry to be so out of the loop on this but it was easier when it was in the dashboard or reader menus.

Hi, I’m researching this issue.
before today I was able to navigate to “notifications” by hocering over the WordPress logo on the upper left nav-bar, then recencently it was moved to the “Reader” nav and now that is no longer available as of today.
christopherjcart, can you tell me the URL when you are on when you cannot find the notifications button?
Aside: this is a separate issue compared to the one first reported here by mark4303 which is that he can find the notifications button but when he tries to look at them he just sees the spinner.
