Notifications not loading in Firefox 21.x

  Every time I now click the notifications button on the top bar all I get is a spinner, and nothing loads. I am using Firefox 21.x on OSX 10.8. I do have pop up and ad blockers active. I could shut them off to see if that’s the culprit. I could also see if it works in Safari, my other browser, but Firefox is my preferred browser.

  I am using Firefox 21 and not experiencing what you report. Are you sure you don’t have an add-on or extension that’s causing this?

  As you are running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com please do these four things:

  1. Try clearing your browser’s cache: http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050

  2. Make sure that you have third-party cookies and JavaScript enabled: http://en.support.wordpress.com/third-party-cookies/
  http://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=12654

  3. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.
  

  4. Try enabling HTTPS: http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/

  Ok, it was the third party cookies. I have that allowed now. Not that a big deal to be secuirty-wise, since I have Firefox clear my cache every time I exit.
