Notifications of post changes coming from other than my site
-
Hi. I am getting the usual notifications when I change a post and from my blog subscriptions, with this added change recently. Another site, which is not my site, but was a site I followed, was repeating these notifications of changes I made recently on a blog post, or a new post. But also, all of my blog subscriptions are coming from this site as well weekly. I unsubscribed from this site today. I will make a new post to see if it is still being sent from that domain. Any ideas or suggestions as to the cause or reason for this would be appreciated. I have my own domain at mysylph.com
Thanks

I am not sure what stopped the incoming notifications from the other domain, and I did nothing to my email account, although I contemplated the answer from Support stating that the problem appeared to be from my email account and how I had saved the contacts, but I had not. Neither the incoming domain server, not my name appeared to be saved as contacts in my email account and unfortunately Windows 8 doe snot make addinf or changing contact information easy from one platform to the other-I am sure it requires a turorial to figure out how to find you contacts, let alone change them. While I was thinking about how to accomplish this and whether it made complete sense or not-and it did not-the emails changed back to my wordpress account name (mysylph.com). I did delete the other domain from my Blogs I Follow section. I received normal notifications from my weekly post updates and two post changes also came from my domain name this week. I did not turn off my notifications at all. I did delete some extraneous blogs I was also following as well, but particularly that one and the posts stopped. However, it does not appear as if it were a problem with my email account which is what Support told me. Idk….:) . Thanks for asking!
