Notifications of Posts

    Dear,
    Our site is accessible by password and all users have ‘author’ status. Some users do not get an email when a new post was published. We have compared the notification settings of 2 affected users (one of which gets update mails and the other does not) and they are identical. Yet one person still doesn’t get notifications.
    Are there any settings anywhere we should consider here that I can check?

    Hi Danny,

    Whether or not, and how frequently, a user receives email notification of new posts being published is dependent upon whether the user is a subscriber to the site, and their (not your) notification settings. Relevant support pages and sections include:
