notifications re number of followers

  Firstly Happy New Year to all.
  Just wondering, I only once received a notification from wordpress, when my blog had 201 followers. I am just wondering at what intervals or number counts does this happen as I just noticed that my blog already have over the 400 followers and have not received the same type of notification.
