Notifications still going to old e-mail address

  Hello,
  I changed my e-mail address in my Personal Settings, but when I get a notification someone is following my blog, it is still sent to my old — not my new e-mail address. I am planning on deleting this e-mail address next week, so I very much need all of my WordPress correspondence to go to my new e-mail address.

  Please advise.

  You need to change the email address in Settings -> General. This is the account your notification emails are sent to.

  Thank you — I got your e-mail notification sent to my new e-mail address, so that’s progress. I went into Settings (the first page, the default) and it’s definitely my new e-mail address. I wonder if there is a lag time for the system to process changing e-mail addresses.

  If it happens again, I will let you know. Thanks so much for your prompt reply!
