Notifications still not working

I am not able to access my replies in notifications- can someone please tell me what I need to do to correct this problem? Do I need to delete this account and open a new one?

What is the exact URL starting with http:// of the wordpress.COM hosted site you refer to please?
And, exactly which wordpress.COM username account registered that site?
This is wordpress.COM support. I’m asking because we cannot accurately answer questions posted here until we have confirmed the URL referred to and verified the hosting.

Scroll down to:
Block Emails
__Block all email updates from blogs you’re following on WordPress.com
disable the setting and then click “Save Notification Settings”.Make sure that setting is disabled.
If you do not succeed make sure you are running a browser and version of it found at http://browsehappy.com or upgrade, if required.

You must be logged in under the exact same username that registered the site to be able to access the site. The Admin login link to the dashboard for every blog hosted by wordpress.COM is:
http://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
Replace NAME_OF_BLOG in that URL with the actual name of your blog.
If you are not logged in under that account then clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies and then login correctly under the relevant username account.

I really don’t understand this, I have only one account with the email snowflakedances. I deleted an old account a year ago but cannot even access that account.

I am so confused…sorry. I have only this account. Maybe I should delete it and start over? I have used the same link and same account on that blog for months now..so why is it not working all of a sudden?

Hmmm…I checked your account and there hasn’t been any site ever registered under it. So, the content you find on charliej373.wordpress.com is content you wrote and published? I see several users under the site, but you are not one of them.

I did not write anything, I have nothing to do with that blog other than I visit it and comment there. I really do not understand what you are asking me. Two days ago my notifications stopped working.. on my WP account…all of the replies I have coming in to comments I made on that site are not coming into my WP notification (the little bell I click to see responses to comments I make) that's all I am having an issue with.

I don’t understand any of this confusion. I am simply having a problem with my notifications not coming in on my WP account…all it does is load and load forever and no replies to my comments or likes show up anymore. I guess I’ll just have to delete the account. Thanks for trying to help and sorry for the confusion.

the problem seems to be with Firefox..the notifications show up if I am on MS-Edge. I prefer FireFox, do you have any idea what would be causing this? Thanks!

I figured it out! It was third party cookies..I had it set to accept them NEVER, changed it to accept from visited- now it’s all working fine. Thanks for trying to help.
