Notifications To Wrong Email Address
-
I changed my email address about three weeks but I received a notification at my old email address. I have checked personal settings and it has the correct email address. Anyone know why this is happening? Would it take this long to update?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Have you checked your email spam filter? No it should not take this long of a time to update after following the instructions. Please read the Issues Changing your E-mail Address section here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/email-address/#issues-changing-your-e-mail-address And if you are still having trouble after that you will have to contact Staff.

Yeah checked the spam. Incidentally the notifier for your response was sent to the correct email address. However the notifier confirming someone has subscribed to my blog was sent to my old email address. Is there more than one place an email address has to be changed? I am somewhat confused now.

Above my pay-grade but WordPress.COM does have several copies of your blog info on different servers in different cities – you might have ran into a cache issue with where WordPress.com retrieved your data from.
Sometimes the daily stats counts will jump around a bit because not all the servers are updated at the same instant and the stats count will come from different servers depending on traffic load.

Does this help?
There are two main types of email notifications that you’ll receive from WordPress.com. You may want to designate a different email addresses for each of these. http://en.support.wordpress.com/email-notifications/ -
