  Yesterday I created a new wordpress user called sjp66. I managed eventually to set them up as an admin on my blog (I have 2 blogs and wanted one username to post on one blog and another username on another blog).

  I am logged into WP on forefox with sjp66 and logged in via chrome with my regular username.

  sjp66 isn’t getting any comment or follow or like notifications for the blog, how can I set it that I get those?

  I also realised (too late) that I should have just created this blog with a new username on a new email address so adding a user with no blog just to share the posting seem like a kack handed way of doing this and I am not sure how to rectify it, can anyone help please?

  IE could I transfer ownership of this blog to sjp66 and then remove steevjp from the site althogether so I can treat as two completely seperate blogs

  Yes. Every blog has a sole owner and it is the person with the username account who registered the blog under that username account and associated email address. No matter how many blogs are created under any username account there will be only one gravatar and one primary blog that can be linked to that username.

  You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog and purchased upgrades to renew them or transfer the blogs and the upgrades to another username account.

  To transfer a blog from one username account A to another username account B you must first log in under the username account A that owns the blog you want to transfer to the other username account.

  Then you add the other username account B as an Admin of the blog.

  Then you A can use this process to transfer the blog to that username account B instead http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-user-or-account
