novice with questions

  I started creating a blog site with you folks, but think perhaps that going through Bluehost might work better for me. But the info I have read is confusing. Do I need a separate host? All I want to create is a blog for my relatives and friends.

  I doubt a site at BlueHost will be easier (or cheaper) than here at WordPress.com. You’ve already created a free site hosted here: https://littleprairiehome.wordpress.com/
  See: https://learn.wordpress.com/ I’ll bet BlueHost don’t have such detailed setup instructions.
