Now unable to resize images in the Classic Editor

    I am still using the classic editor block. I am unable to resize the image and to align the image in the text block. I am using the monochrome theme.

    To avoid this problem I am now using the Classic Editor as recommended in an earlier thread from 2023. Is a fix insight?

    I’m suddenly experiencing the loss of image editing within the classic block too, hopefully it’s a glitch and not a removal of function.

    Any ideas?

    There is no way round, but the Classic Editor and the Classic Block are slowly fading out. Recent themes are no longer compatible with the Classic Editor and Block.

    instead of clinging to the outdated Classic Editor and Block, it’s better to learn using the modern Block Editor.

    Thanks, but for my particular task using the modern block options takes twice as long, not because I don’t know how to use it but because it requires multiple steps that using the classic block does not, and for a less satisfying result.

    you’re lucky to be able to still use the classic editor at all! it’s been rendered almost useless, i was forced last year to change a thousand posts to “blocks” , and it’s a lot heavier and slower
