Nucleare Theme: How to keep "Featured Images" transparent?
-
Hello,
I noticed in the “Nucleare” theme the featured images automatically get a colorful background when uploading a transparent image. Is it possible to adjust it to fit the transparent image – so it stays as a transparent image?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

@ciotara can you send a link to a post that should have a transparent featured image? We’ll take a look.

Thanks for that. This color isn’t really being added to the image itself. It’s a background that is part of the color palette meant for image rollovers and what not, and that background just shows through.
If you have a CSS upgrade (which is in our pro and business plans) we can help you add CSS to adjust that.
Or, if there’s a specific color you’d like to show instead, could you add that to the image prior to upload?

Unfortunately I didn’t book the pro or business plan. Currently I use the free version. But anyway… many thanks for your help.

Yeah, if you’re unable to upgrade and you dislike the color, I recommend flattening the image with the background color of your choice, or picking another theme. Good luck!
