Nucleare Theme- Read More button not working?

I activated the Nucleare theme for my blog. I use the “read more” link frequently to keep my blog neat and orderly. When I am signed in to wordpress, the read more button works perfectly. A friend of mine alerted me to the fact that she could not use the read more button, it just didn’t work. I logged out, and was unable to use the read more button also. Any idea how to fix this?? I have no idea why it will only work for logged in members! I’ve removed almost all the read more links from my site while I try to fix it. Make sure you are logged out or you won’t experience it.

If you have a “read more” tag added to that post it will only be visible and work on the posts page, where an excerpt will be displayed cutting off where you place the tag. It will not be visible on the single post. If it were, what would it link to? See the More tag support page.

I’m sorry, I definitely caused more confusion by including the link to one of the posts. I meant o say, that is one of the posts that still has a read more button- when you scroll through my posts on the main page , that specific blog post has the read more button, but it wont work when you are logged out or not a member…

Hi there,

Sorry about that! It looks like the sharing buttons and the “read more” link aren’t playing nice together. I reported that to our theme developers so they can take a look at that issue for you.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. :) I’ll let you know when I get an update about that.

I’m currently using nucleare as my theme in wordpress, but I’m having a hard time because the “read more” link cannot be changed when it comes to color although all links are clearly working okay. I’m inlove with this theme and this is the only thing that bugs me. It would be so great if you will response. Thank you!! :)

aseguradojaicel – you can change the background and text colour of the “Read more” links with this custom CSS:
```
.wf-active a.more-link, a.more-link {
    background-color: #bb00bb;
    color: #ffffff;
}

.wf-active a.more-link:hover, a.more-link:hover {
    background-color: #000000;
    color: #ffffff;
}
```
Just change the colour codes to whatever you prefer.

livedinlace — Our team fixed up that issue with the “read more” link so it works everywhere now. If you have any more trouble with that, please let me know!
