Pornography is against the wp.com terms of service but legal adult content AKA mature content is not. http://en.wordpress.com/tos/ Mature means not suitable for general audiences including children and grandparents, for example. Something I’m not clear about — I know film schools are using my site, and especially this page. If the page, or site gets a ‘mature’ rating due to a few film stills, will the film schools and film students still find the wordpress link in Google?
This is not imperitive for me to have the stills, but there are a few examples I would like to show for referance. I am currently working on a bit about changing attitudes over time, and in different regions.
I didn’t quite get exactly how the site would be affected as concerns public access.

Yes, the indexed content will still appear in Google search results.
