number of authors?

  is there a limit to the number of authors I can invite to participate in the blog? I am using this for a class with 70 students — can they all be signed up/invited as authors?

  There is no limit, you can have as many Authors (or other users) as you want to.

  No there is not. However, as a spammer prevention has been introduced you can only send out 10 invitations at a single point in time and then wait and send out 10 more invitations.

  Oh, one thing to keep in mind is that if all the students register for WordPress.com accounts at the same time from the same classroom, it might trigger our anti-spam system, because it looks just like an automated spam attack.

  A great way to get around that is to make signing up at WordPress.com their first homework assignment.
