Number of current daily posts?

  Other than counting them, how can the current daily total number of posts be determined, as “recent posts” does not indicate the number?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi. Are you asking how to set the number of “recent posts” in the Recent Posts Widget, or how to restrict the number of recent posts for a specific day?

  Neither!

  I am inquiring as to the number of posts I have posted do not show a total count for my posts, as do other blogs elsewhere–is that feature just something i do not have turned on; or does it just not exist w/WP???

  Go so screen options top right hand corners of your admin page and click that link. Then choose the “Right Now” module. That module displays: the number of posts you have published. Also note that immediately after you publish there is a page that is displayed which also displays the total number of posts you have published.
