Number of followers & blog address

    Hi,

    My sister owns a blog by address – namtagupta.wordpress.com.
    And when someone goes to her blog, it shows in the bottom right corner of the page:

    “Follow “namtagupta”

    Get every new post delivered to your Inbox.

    Join 36 other followers”

    But she has only 9 followers. Is this a miscalculation?
    Also, how can she get the address in capital letters?

    Is her blog connected to facebook, twitter or tumblr via publicize? The follower stats displayed in the widget includes followers from those platforms as well. (Though I can’t actually see a follower widget on her site – did you/she remove it?)

    Blog addresses (URLs), like all web addresses, use only lowercase letters. While nothing prevents you from having capital letters in the URL, it can actually cause problems with search engines, so rather stay away from them. If she wants capital letters in her blog title (as it appears when you open the blog), that can be changed under Settings ->General on the dashboard.
