Number of followers not updating in WP Reader view

  Hi there,

  The number of followers in Reader view for my blog doesn’t seem to be updating. Is there an error with my blog and the following mechanism somewhere? I do get notifications on new follows though, and I’m at more than twice what the Reader view shows.

  I’m having the same problem with my follower count not updating, but also I’m having email followers not show up on my list. Then they magically appear with the timestamp saying that they followed days/weeks ago. I’m so confused.
