Number of followers & number of views

  Hi,

  In my blog stats, I can see 177 followers in Publicize feature but the total views on my blog are just 39 with 2 followers. How are the number of views calculated ? Do owner/author visits count as views?

  It would be great help!

  Followers include your Twitter and Facebook and G+ followers, provided you have connected those services via Publicize. It does not guarantee that ANY of them actually go to and read your blog, just that you are pushing your posts at them via the robotic service.

  The number of blog followers means the number of email or Reader followers, it’s separate from the social media followers.

  Author views are only counted on Private blogs.
