number of online players from steam at wordpress site

    Hello, I want show the current status of online steam players on my website. Dont anyone know how to scrap it from there? Or from this website -> https://steamcharts.com/, does not matter (there is also 24 hours peak and peak of all time, so if possible, I would like it there as well).

    I think it can be added via html widget (script in it), but really dont know the code.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider. We cannot help with this in the WordPress.com forums.

    Support for your version of WordPress can be found here:

    But they won’t be able to help you with this either, as this is not a question about using the WordPress software, but instead about embed code for Steam, and only Steam support, or perhaps the people who run the Steamcharts website, can help you with something like that.

    If I had to guess, then I’d say the folks at Steamcharts is using Steam’s API to pull in that data – this is not the type of thing you can simply scrape – and you’d need to use a WordPress plugin that does the same thing to embed that type of data on a WordPress website.

    There might already exist a WordPress plugin that does this, but I think you’re more likely to find useful suggestions in that regard on a gamers forum than a WordPress tech support forum :)
