number of posts on home page.

Currently my home page will only allow me to have 1 post at a time. once i post a new post the 2nd post is put in archive. How can i change the number of posts that are readily seen on my home page? I also am interested in buying the name to my website. if I do, is that website licensed to my name or wordpress?

The theme you’ve chosen is considered to be a Magazine theme, rather than a standard blog theme. It will display the latest post and other Sticky posts as featured items.
If you want multiple posts displayed on the front page, I recommend trying a different theme.
If you purchase the domain name, it will be your property.

2 questions then.
Can i add a blog page? Can i add a new a page with a blog in it and have it be one of my parents.
2. If i register another website name with a new blog. How can i make that link be a parent on my head bar?

With this theme, what you are seeing is the blog page.
You can add a custom link to your header page via Appearance -> Menus in your blog’s Dashboard. See this for more info: http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/
