  My main page is displaying ALL my posts instead of the 2 most recent posts like I have set up in my page appearance/ reading options.

  We recently released a new feature on the Twenty Ten and Twenty Eleven themes called infinite scroll, which loads additional posts as visitors scroll down on your site.
