  Can my WordPress web page serve 3000 subscribers?

  Thank you for the quick response. I have a few more questions:

  1) can my website with Worpress support 3000+ subscribers with own accounts to login to save large amount pictures and maintain personal and activity profiles?
  2) would account holders in (1) be able to generate simple analytics/stats (sums, averages, graphs over time, venue, etc.) of their own activities?
  3) does Worpress help provide confidentiality of the personal profiles in (1)?
  4) can I choose part(s) of the data to be stored on my server rather than on the storage provided by Worpress?
  5) the account holders will be requested to take online surveys periodically. Can these surveys be created and administered at my website created on the Worpress platform? If not what are the options?
  6) is it possible to make or accept payments through this website?
  7) are sub-domains possible in my website with Worpress : choice of language or country or user category?

  Hi there,

  Yes, it’s possible. Each new user will need to create its own WordPress.com account and will have access to their own activity and profile on WordPress.com.

  2) would account holders in (1) be able to generate simple analytics/stats (sums, averages, graphs over time, venue, etc.) of their own activities?

  This might be possible depending on the plugin(s) you plan on using to create your “networking” site.

  3) does Worpress help provide confidentiality of the personal profiles in (1)?

  Yes, all information is confidential unless you choose to make public (e.g. publish posts on a public website). You can read our Privacy Policy here:

  4) can I choose part(s) of the data to be stored on my server rather than on the storage provided by Worpress?

  All data is stored on our servers. However, depending on the plugins you plan on using there might be a way to store data somewhere else and pull it on your site hosted here. But again, I can’t answer that question without more information on the whole infrastructure and operation of your site.

  5) the account holders will be requested to take online surveys periodically. Can these surveys be created and administered at my website created on the Worpress platform? If not what are the options?

  Again, this will be dependant on the plugins you choose to install to generate those surveys. There are many of those plugins found in the Plugin Directory

  6) is it possible to make or accept payments through this website?

  Yes. You can use our built-in Simple Payment feature, or install an e-commerce solution like WooCommerce that will allow you to collect payments and memberships.

  7) are sub-domains possible in my website with Worpress : choice of language or country or user category?

  Yes, you can have subdomains, but each subdomain will be a separate site that will probably require a separate plan.

  Also note that for the type of website you’re planning on creating here, you’ll need to get our Business plan as this is the only plan that will allow you to install plugins, third-party themes, and possible use some custom code.
