Number of Views

  Hi, is there a way not to count my own views on the total number of views on my site? As part of my editing, i sometimes preview/view my site and it should not count on the statistics.. I just want to know if i really have other visitors or viewers on a certain blog i wrote.

  Based on the “Views and Visitors” subheading on this article, you’ll see that “Visits you make to your own publicly available blog (when logged in to your account)” aren’t counted as part of your views. So this shouldn’t be getting tallied up as part of the total views.

  Hi Bud, thanks for replying, but this is not true. I just created my blog 2 months ago and nobody knows about the existence of my blog but myself. Every time I am viewing it, a view is counted. So yeah they have this clause in their article but it doesn’t apply. Hope there is a way to turn off your own views being counted.
