Number showing up rather than title?

  Recent blog shows up in email and in the url as a number, thusly: http://globallinksblog.wordpress.com/2012/10/24/652/. Why does the blog’s title not show up?

  The displayed title doesn’t have to coincide with the slug in the URL. You probably added the title after adding some main text, so the system supplied the number in place of the missing title. You can go to Posts > All Posts, hover over that post, click Quick Edit, correct the slug, click Update.
  Note well: the slug must be a series of lowercase words separated by hyphens, no spaces, no other punctuation marks. Like this:
