Numbered list formatting – outline format
-
I want to use a numbered list where the secondary numbering is a letter. Is there a way to get the indented numbering to be a letter?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there. You can indeed do this with HTML code. However, as I was creating sample code to add to a draft post in your website, so you could use it as a template, I realized that your theme is not allowing me to create a nested outline. I have put in a request to the theme staff, and as soon as I have a resolution, I will let you know! Thanks so much.

At long last!
We’ve communicated with the theme developer of Alto, and it appears as if they’ve been able to create a fix for you.
Please take a look, try to add a nested outline, and let me know how things work for you. Thanks a ton for your patience. Best to you!

Thanks! I had noticed it started working a while back. I have made absolutely made no changes since the initial topic inquiry.
I have an additional question. The nested numbering is using a number and then a capital letter. Is this selectable? Is there HTML coding that would specify lower case? Or, is the precise formatting controlled by the developer?

Hi there! Sadly, there’s no way to choose the formatting (ie. caps or lower case). The developers have chosen the formatting they like. Sorry about that. I do hope it’s at least working a bit better than before. The site is looking great, by the way :)
