Nuntius Theme – "Home" page not found in pages on dashboard
-
I switched over to the Nuntius theme. Great theme. Love it, but I have one problem with it: When I go into the “pages” option, it only displays the pages I have created. The “Home” page is not displayed. I viewed this Home page on my blog, but there was no edit tab. The only thing I want to do is rename it. Is there a resolution to this issue?

The home page is not a “page” in the normal sense. It is the main page of the site that shows your posts, and it is dynamically created by the wordpress core and theme software. It does not exist until a user/browser calls for it and then it is created out of thin air, much like the Fed creates money in the US. :-)
To rename the “tab” in the navigation, create a custom menu and then create a custom menu item named whatever you want it and link it to your site main page. Add in whatever other pages you want and you are good to go.

Some themes like yours have a “Home” or Blog” tab that’s just a tab tie. there is no actual page so you cannot edit it. It’s coded into the template. See here > http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/05/06/the-home-tab/
