The text area is not working on the slider. Just shows a small black box where the test should be. Can someone please advise what may be the problem. Thanks. The website is biggestlittlemenu.com

Hi biggestlittlemenu,
I noticed you only have 2 posts you’ve marked as Sticky. But you don’t have any text for one of them. Make sure all your Stick posts have text, like Smoky Market Foods example. Remember to click the Update button after you add some text.Let me know if this works.

How to add excerpts to posts
To add an excerpt to a post, simply write one in the Excerpt field under the post edit box. An excerpt can be as short or as long as you wish. Usually, given its purpose, a couple of sentences is fine.
Note: As of WordPress version 3.1, some screen options on the Post & Page edit Administration Panels are hidden by default. The Excerpt field is hidden by default if it has not been used before.

Thanks for the help. I have tried it all. Nothing seems to make the slider work correctly.

It was caused by the rating plugin and it was interfering the slideshow caption text to appear correctly. It’s been fixed now and I can confirm the caption text appears on your site now.
