OAuth 2.0 Authentication for WP & REST API

    Every more serious Application which is not a Blog like from 2005 needs serious stuff like Authentication for WP & WP over REST API, something like OAuth 2.0 should be an official plugin made by the WordPress Team.

    Every modern Native/Web Application which uses WordPress as backend needs OAuth 2.0 Authentication for the REST API, why are important plugins like this not made by the Automattic Team? Instead of acquiring companies like Frontity which are basically just React devs (which you can find everywhere) Automattic could invest in a team for building nice core plugins managed by the Automattic team.

    Why do I need to trust companies like MiniOrange from India to do my REST API Authentication? I will never understand how Automattic does not see that WordPress is not for Web only and building blogs anymore.
