Obtaining a back up of my database from wordpress.com

How do I obtain a backup of my database?

I run the site mensstylepro.com that was hosted through wordpress.com. I recently transferred the domain & hosting to godaddy.com. I continue to have a database error and after speaking with Go Daddy support, I was informed that I need to get a back up of my database from wordpress.com. Also, it appear that wordpress is attempting to load two data bases, when there is only one. I really need your help as soon as possible. Thanks.

Thanks for all of you help. I’ve already exported mensstylepro.com and uploaded it into the wordpress.org platform via godaddy.com. Here are my issues that appear to still be on wordpress.com’s end.

    1. After speaking with Godaddy.com it appears that wordpress.com has two databases for the mensstylepro.com, so the site can not sync up.

    2. I’m not able to log into myphpadmin, to see the databases and I believe that the issue above maybe the problem. I need this access to to the the database backup for my SQL file.

    3. when you go to mensstylepro.com now, this error occurs: Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_theme_data() in /home/content/96/10854796/html/index.php on line 35

    Any help is much appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Sabir

It’s only possible to export your blog content by following the instruction at: http://en.support.wordpress.com/export

If you’re having problems with a site not hosted with WordPress.com, we may not be able to help. To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities.

You can find support for self-hosted/installed versions of WordPress here and here.
