Obtaining cancelled URL

  I attempted to create a new blog named RunningWithSafetyScissors.Wordpress.com, however the blog creation page says the site already exists. I checked the URL to verify and it looks like the original owner has deleted the URL.

  Is there any way to obtain that URL?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi Edwin, we don’t actually recycle blog addresses. You can read why we have this policy here: Recycling Blog Addresses (URLs).

  Hopefully you can find an alternative address that suits your needs. Good luck!
