Obtaining Copyrights for a Picture from Your Website

  To Whom It May Concern,

  We kindly ask you to give us the permission for the reproduction of materials, to which your organization holds copyrights. These materials (a picture of a square found at your website http://fredandreaseasterneurope2013.wordpress.com/2013/08/13/lviv-the-ancient-polish-city-in-the-ukraine/, is going to be used in Ukrainian Through Its Living Culture textbook for English-speaking higher learning institutions.

  We would like to stress that each material will have a reference to your copyright ownership, as well as the names of authors and dates of publication when such information is present on your web-site.

  Hi there. This is the technical support forum for the entire WordPress.com platform and no one here can give you authorisation to use images from any specific site. Copyright of images and other content contained on individual websites belong to the owners and authors of those websites, not to WordPress.com. To obtain that permission you will have to contact the owner of that site directly.

  If the owner of that site does not have contact details published on their site or do not have a contact form or comments enabled, staff will not be able to provide you with contact details, as per the WordPress.com privacy policy. http://automattic.com/privacy/
