Obtaining WordPress.com subscribers email addresses

    I want to privately share a YouTube video with my blog subscribers. This requires that I enter their email addresses in a form on YouTube. The majority of my subscribers are email subscribers and downloading their email addresses from WordPress.com was easy enough, but I have quite a few subscribers who are WordPress.com subscribers (other bloggers) for whom email addresses do not seem available for download from WordPress. Do I have that right? Is there no way to obtain their email addresses so I can include them in the private video feed?

    Hi there,

    We cannot provide you with the email addresses for WordPress.com subscribers under any circumstances – that would be a direct violation of our privacy policy those users agreed to when they created their accounts on our platform.

    As an alternative, you could add a contact form to your site and ask your subscribers to send you their emails, or else set up a Mailchimp form on your site using the Mailchimp block:
