Occasional posts wont be sticky

  My blog is on oxygen, in general I love it but I just have a couple of issues.
  I just have a couple of posts that wont work in my slideshow when I try and make them sticky.
  It says that they are sticky but they disappear from my page, not on my slideshow.
  any hints?

  Are the featured images which don’t appear in the slider of sufficient width (minimum of 750 pixels)? The Oxygen theme guide says,

  The Showcase Page template offers a featured slider for up to six Sticky Posts that have a Featured Image at least 750 pixels wide. Keep in mind: if you mark a post as Sticky but the featured image is less than 750 pixels wide, then it won’t display in the slider and will still disappear from the river of posts.
