Ocean Mist. Blog posts won’t single space

  I’m new to blogging. Using Ocean Mist Theme.

  I was able to single space: http://myitchytravelfeet.wordpress.com/about/

  Now, when I try to add new posts, all the lines are double spaced. Please help me reslove.
  Also, is their a beginners tutorial? I can’t find one.

  Without any content other than that about page, it’s hard to look at the problem. Usually you can force it to single space when you hit Enter if you also hold the Shift key down. Are you talking about it double-spaceing ALL text, even when you don’t have Enter?

  If I hit “shift” enter, yes, I can force it to single space. At least this is a work around until I figure the problem out.

  If you mean you want to take out the spaces between paragraphs, you’re going to have to do some funky coding OR always hit Shift down. Every theme of which I’m aware on WP.com always adds an extra line between paragraphs.

  Paragraph formatting on the web (HTML) automatically includes an extra space between paragraphs. It has since the internet was made of twigs and stone.

  Shift-Enter inserts a br tag, which will override the extra line between paragraphs.
