Ocean Mist Questions

    Hey guys,

    My first question is that is there any way to remove the categories from the bottom of the site? Secondly when I was on my netbook earlier today the title of each post was inside a blue rectangle but now I’m on my home PC and it’s all white. I was playing with settings and stuff earlier. Is this something I actually did or just some sort of weird thing going on? (aka you see blue and not white).

    Thanks in advance.

    Oh, almost forgot. Is there any way I could generate a URL link which lets people subscribe to my blog?

    I currently have it set up as a widget but I would like to remove that and instead place a link inside ‘Connect with me’ links widget which effectively does the same thing.

    I’ve figured out what I asked in the second post. Appreciate any help I can get regarding the first post.

    You would need the paid CSS upgrade and some CSS editing experience to hide the categories at the bottom.

    With OceanMist, the post titles and metadata at the top have a bluish background by design. I’m not sure why your home PC would be showing it as white although all computers will render colors slightly differently, and some computer video cards are way off.

    To hide the categories and tags at the bottom of each post copy the code below into your CSS, you can preview the changes before deciding on paying for the upgrade:

    .post .postinfo p {visibility:hidden; height:0;}
    .post .postinfo p.com {visibility:visible;}

    I think they are wanting to remove them from the far bottom of the page (bottom widget area) which would take this

    .catlist {display: none; }

    I never figured out how to get rid of the categories title and background since it uses .title h2 and .title just like the posts do.

    Child selector to the rescue:

    .catlist, #content>.title {display:none;}
